DO I NEED TO RETAIN AN ATTORNEY TO DEFEND ME IF CHARGED WITH A CRIMINAL OFFENSE?
Yes. I would recommend it. it is not the amount of the fine, money is fungible. A criminal record is an indelible mark that may take up to five (5) years to expunge. You may not be able to secure employment as a school teacher or other government employee. If you are employed by government you may be required to forfeit your position. You may be denied a license to practice by a professional licensing board. If you are not a United States citizen you may be deported.
If you have been charged with a criminal offense I can help you.
In my 30 years of practicing law I have helped may hundreds of clients avoid conviction, avoid possible jail time, avoid maximum fines, avoid license suspension.
Please contact me today for your free initial consultation and a no nonsense discussion of how I can help you if retained.
